This past Thursday, Gianna completed her two-week long swim lessons, and she did great! Last year we had done parent-child swim lessons with her and this year she was in Level 1 lessons all by herself! The first day I was prepared for the possibility that she wouldn't want to do it, but once she saw another kid she knew from mom's group at church, she seemed to warm up to it all and, when they went in the water for the first time, she was completely fine. For the first few days, whenever she did a back float, she would come running out of the pool to tell us in excitement:) The only time she cried was when they had the class float in the deep end with life jackets-- she didn't like that very much but neither did some other kids in the class; when I walked over there it seemed half the class was crying... overall, she thoroughly enjoyed the class, and it was fun watching her:)

Taking role call-they asked the kids a question everyday. The only question she answered completely on her own was what was her favorite kind of ice cream, she said "purple."
Finding a toy duirng the treasure hunt.
Blowing bubbles!
Front float
Back float
Every class, she always seemed to be tagging along at the back of the line-- I think she was one of the youngest kids in the class though. (The class was for kids ages 3-10)
Good job, Gianna! She looks adorable in her little suit!
