Ella at 6 Months!

I can't believe she is already a half a year old!

Affectionately called: El Bell, Ella Bella, Miss El or Miss Elli, Elli McBelly, and "Ewwa" (by Gianna)

Is known as a "one sock wonder" because she usually kicks off at least one of her socks in a matter of minutes

Has also been called "Ella-Felfa" because of her hair;)

Still seems to have a feisty side and has developed an angry scream that lets you know she's not happy (both probably innate survival skills of being a little sister;)

 Is now an unsupported sitter and getting better at it everyday! (Accomplished this milestone the beginning of October)

Is very ticklish!

Is usually the most talkative when she wakes up in the morning and when she's getting tired.

Likes to touch my face when she eats and likes to put her fingers in my mouth too

Her look of concentration usually involves her tongue sticking out a bit;)

Is starting to show mommy preference and likes to give daddy a "haha" grin when she coaxes her way into my arms

- Has had baby cereal a handful of times, but nothing consistent.  She seems interested until it gets into her mouth, then she usually gives a gag reaction and tries to take the spoon to do it herself.

-Is very interested in the world around her and likes to take charge of anything she can get her hands on.

 -Gives big beautiful smiles a lot, but also seems to have a serious side too- it's hard to get her to smile when she's being "serious-observer girl" (unless you cheat and tickle her;)

-Her big sister is usually good for a laugh now and then, and she definitely likes to watch her when she's in the room.

-Still wakes up at least once or twice a night and takes two to three naps a day.

-Weighs 15 lbs 10 ozs (50th percentile), is 27 inches in length (90th percentile), and has a head size of 16 1/2 inches (50th percentile)

- Has beautiful blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair (for now:)
