As rough as the beginning of the kindergarten year began, is how smooth it has come to a near end (her last day is May 26th)!! Thankfully, she found her groove and never looked back:)

If she ever has a chance to watch a show, she'll take it!

Friday nights are often movie nights at our house and there are many nights Gianna and Nathan have fallen asleep, but not Ella! It is very rare for her to fall asleep while watching anything.

Has her go to outfits she likes to wear and likes to put certain items of clothing together to create her style.

Refuses to wear tights!  If she could wear flip-flops year round, she would.

LOVES to color.  This is often her go to activity of choice.  She loves to color in coloring books and likes to color with chalk as well.

Likes to play Barbies and babies and often likes to play the baby in imaginary play as well.

Loves to play with her neighborhood friends, Astrid, Savannah, and Lily.

 She and Nathan can either get along and play together really, really well or annoy one another half to death;)

Looks up to her big sister.  The sweetest time is when they wake up on a Saturday morning and can be heard playing and talking together before they come out of their room to fully start their day.  

Loves her little cousins, Casey, Natalie, and Kai

Natalie is the little sister she wishes she had. (I think they are going to have a sweet relationship as they grow:)

When we went to visit Kai for the first time, it became quite clear she could have sat and held him all day;)

Can be super silly and loud at times but also has a very reserved and quite side as well.

Has developed an "over the top" laugh that I absolutely love!:) 

If she is not happy about something, on the other hand, she will often let you know with her scowling eyes, tight lips, and crossed arms!

Wants to be a hair stylist when she grows up. (Loves to comb and fix Aunt Beth's hair;)

Still references her imaginary friend Lisa from time to time.  She once stated, "I'm the youngest girl in our family because Lisa is already 10!"

Is still a tried and true thumb sucker (kindergarten did very little to damper this habit;)

Will often come quietly down the hall after bedtime to let us know she can't sleep or because she needs a drink or needs to tell you something.  Once she was standing quietly by the entry to the kitchen, out of sight, and when I came around the corner she scared me half to death!

Once she falls asleep, however, she is a good sleeper.  

Is our sweet little Ella Bella whom we love so very, very much!
