We were blessed to have his godparents, his Great Aunt Debbie and his Great Uncle Duane, come all the way from California for the joyous day!  

Nathan wore the baptismal gown his cousins wore, which was originally made for Maria and me for our baptism by my Grandma Luebke and my mom. (It has since been altered to be more boy, with the lace removed;). He was a very good boy through the whole ceremony (just got fussy for the after pictures;).  

He smelled like the baptismal oil all day-- the smell is heavenly!  We put a hat on his head after his baptism, and I may very well never wash it so I can always smell that oil;)

What is even more special about Nathan's godparents is they are Andy's godparents as well!
