Grandpa's Train Room

A few weeks ago, Gianna got the chance to see Grandpa Teska's train room for the very first time!  Grandpa and Grandma wanted to show it to her when they felt she could appreciate it and really enjoy it and so for the first time ever, she was lead to the door in the garage (that she's been oblivious to for the past 3 1/2 years) to see Grandpa's trains!

This was not her first time seeing model trains; she has attended quite a few train shows with Grandpa and Grandma in her young life, but this was the very first time she got to see why Grandpa likes train shows so much;)

She got a little nervous when we walked out into the garage and led her to the room; the door is in the back corner of the garage, and I think it scared her a little when she realized she had never noticed it before, let alone, been in there (I've concluded that she wouldn't be a good contestant on a game show that reveals prizes behind hidden doors;).  Once she saw what was in there, however, she was very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed all the sights and sounds of the train room:)

Andy's dad inherited the train set from Andy's great uncle about 15 years ago and has enjoyed building up his hobby set ever since.

Ella got to see the room too (of course she didn't keep her hat on for more than a second;)

 Ella's Dolls

 Gianna's Toys

 Andy's Bikes

There's also, Donna's Crafts, Molly's Music, and Andrea's Cakes

To top it all off, Grandpa and Grandma got a play train set for Gianna (and someday, Ella) to play with:)

The train room will now be a room to enjoy for years to come!
