Ella at 10 Months

Her first tooth is officially on its way! It is still pretty close to the gum line but her bottom left tooth appeared at about 9 1/2 months:)

While Gianna was famous for sitting and twirling her wrists, Ella is famous for sitting and bopping.  Whether there's music playing or not, she is often found bouncing to a beat.

Has a bit of a feisty side;)  This side of her often appears with her food preferences.  If she doesn't like something or wants to do it herself, she will wave her hands in protest.  Her hand wave is also a convenient way for her to throw the food she doesn't want to eat on the floor.

LOVES to stand-- can balance pretty well against furniture and can stand alone for a few seconds with a helping hand close by.

 

 If you hold a baby doll and ask her, "where's baby's eye?" she will point to her face and make the "I" sound-- sometimes she even points right to the eyes.

Loves to pull her socks off and "eat" them.

If she finds her clip in her hair, she immediately pulls it out and puts it in her mouth-- some days it's a real challenge to keep her clip in.  Her bangs are getting pretty long, however, so hopefully she ends this phase fairly quickly, otherwise a little hair cut may be in her future:/

She has to be in a sitting position to accomplish this, and can't get into that position without help, so I think it will still be a while before I find her doing this all on her own:)

She can however do this all on her own!:
