House Updates 2020

In the winter months, when my days are spent mainly indoors, a strong desire is brought out inside of me for interior updates to our house.  We fulfilled that desire this year by purchasing new furniture for our living room, and also purchasing an electric fireplace for the space, early this past spring.

Our old furniture, that had been our living room furniture for the entire 12 years of our marriage (it was purchased as part of a wedding present), was moved to our basement to finally create a comfortable seating area down there.

I love making this house feel like "our home." Over the past several months, we have been enjoying these spaces that help create our sense of home and belonging. Especially since "home" has become such a central part of our lives, as of late.
