As was the case for most everyone in the world, we celebrated Easter in a way we had never done before. We didn't go to Mass. We watched Easter Mass live streamed on TV. We didn't celebrate with family, and we didn't have any of our traditional egg hunts. On top of all that, a snow storm made the day even more unusual. We missed some of the sacredness. We missed some of the traditions. We missed some of the signs of spring. Despite this, however, there was still reason to be joyful; there was still reason to be hopeful; there was still reason to feel blessed. Joy, hope, and blessings still remained because the reason for this holy day remained exactly the same...
Jesus Christ is Risen! Alleluia!
