Loves to read and write stories
Her favorite books are the Babysitter's Club Little Sister series
Loved learning how to write cursive in 3rd grade
Was very excited to be selected to attend a special writer's workshop this past school year

Uses her pointer finger and her middle finger on top of her pencil to write... just like her mom
Has double jointed fingers... just like her dad

If she's within earshot, be assured, she is listening to your conversation... likes to know what you're talking about and what is going on;)

Got her first bee sting!  A bee flew up her shirt and stung her in the stomach. Had a moderate reaction, as it took several days for the swelling and redness to go away.
Has a great fear of an overflowing toilet
We had a water pipe break in our neighborhood in January, and she was stressed all day!  She later told me, "this is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me."

Is a sweet girl with a kind heart... most of the time;)
Interactions with her little sister and brother can sometimes bring out her not so nice side, but she is also great big sister to them both!

Loves her family and her friends

Wrote a prayer journal in school earlier this year... made me tear up when I read some of her prayers

Is a good cleaner and organizer
She will willingly clean and reorganize her closet, unprompted, and has even jumped at the chance to help her sister do the same
Likes to shop and spend her money
Wants a pet bunny... I told her to name all the bunnies that come into our yard, and they can be her pets; she wasn't too thrilled with that suggestion;)

Likes gymnastics
Was disappointed after a session of gymnastics to find out she did not test out of the Novice class
We reminded her it takes a lot of practice in and outside of class, and she put her best foot forward to keep on trying!
Does not sit normal on the couch... if you look over at her she is often lying down with her feet and butt in the air;)

We are very proud of the girl she is and the young lady she is becoming!!
We love you, Gianna Marie!!
