Nathan at 6 Months

Nicknames are: Nathee, Buggsie, Buddy, and Scooter

(Ella claims she calls him "Snort" but we've never heard her say that before;)

Weighs 16 lbs 13 ozs (50th percentile) and is 26 3/4 inches (60th percentile)

His head circumference is 17 1/2 inches (75th percentile)

Does not have a lot of hair and the hair he does have is light (i.e. still looks pretty bald;)

Is even more of a rolly polly ollie now!  Rolls from his back to his tummy and from his tummy to his back (can rotate in a circle pretty well with these movements)

Seems to get easily frustrated that he can't move more!

Loves to be carried around.

Likes stroller rides and is a pretty good car seat rider as well.

Is currently a supported sitter but is closing in on the independent sitter milestone.  (Can go for a few short stretches of sitting independently before toppling over;)

Still puts anything and everything he can get his hands on, into his mouth.

This now includes his first taste of rice cereal! 

(He liked it better when he could control the spoon himself;)

Is VERY curious!

He practically does a back-flip out of your hands if you are holding him, and he wants to reach something.

 Sometimes he's very hard to hold because he's so wiggly!

Definitely has a mommy preference at bedtime now (and other times too).

Has had some good afternoon naps (about 2 1/2 hrs to 3 hrs) but is still unpredictable with this.

Still takes about 3 naps a day (usually one longer one and two shorter ones)

Now shares a room with his sisters!...

The three kids now share the big room, and Andy and I have moved to the smaller room.

BUT, still ends up in our bed every night.

If he had a typical night-time "schedule", this would be it:

Goes to sleep about 7/8pm in his crib, wakes up about 11/12pm to eat and then goes back to sleep in his crib, wakes up about 2/3pm to eat again and sleeps in our bed the rest of the night. Fills his diaper about 5/6am and is up for about an hour before he goes back to sleep in mom and dad's bed until about 7/8am.

Is a little more reserved with his smiles lately but is still the sweetest little Baby Love!

I can't believe he is already 6 months old!!!
