Happy 1st Birthday Ella!

Ella turned ONE on April 10th!

On her actual birthday she enjoyed a few mini celebrations through out the day.

 (We planned her birthday party for a few days later since daddy had to work.)

She woke up to a few balloons on her chair and enjoyed eating her apple muffin.

She also got to open a few presents, eat a cupcake, and play with her sister and cousins at Great Grandma Kitty's house.

A few days later we had her party.

I planned an "Ella"-phant themed birthday party for her complete with popcorn, peanuts, and cotton candy (although we never did get around to eating the cotton candy;).

Since we are currently in a state of transition, we kept the guest list pretty small; Grandma and Grandpa Teska were gracious enough to let us have the party at their house;)

For a party game, we played Pin the Tail on the Elephant.

Ella enjoyed watching Weston, Vance, and Gianna pin their tails.

Aunt Maria and Mommy even got in on the fun too;)

(For the record, however, it's hard to blindfold two almost 3 1/2 year olds and a 2 year old~ they did not like the fact that they couldn't see;)

Cake time!

This past winter, I came across a recipe on the back of a box of graham crackers and thought it would make the perfect cake for Ella's birthday.

Her cake was made out of graham crackers, chocolate pudding, bananas, and cool whip.

She loved it:)
