Thanksgiving Weekend

Alas, it seems I've gotten a bit behind on blog updates; it's time for a little catch up, starting with Thanksgiving Day:

This year's Thanksgiving Day was unusually low key.  Andy had to work so just the girls and I headed to La Crosse for the holiday.  We spent the majority of the day at my Grandma Luebke's house and enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal and then went to my Grandma Thompson's house for a little visit that evening.  The weather was seasonably warm, and we were even able to enjoy a little walk after dinner.  All in all, it was a very relaxing day without a lot of hustle and bustle, and it was nice to have time to just sit and enjoy one another's company.

Andy enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner at the station and had a fairly busy day.  We were sad he had to work, but he does have a very nice stretch off for Christmas so it will be worth it!

Gianna and Ella's First Thanksgiving Comparables:)

Since Andy was working (and Aunt Molly is out in California) it was decided that we would opt for a nice dinner out with Grandma and Grandpa Teska and Great Grandma and Grandpa Rohde on Friday.  We went to Rocky's in Stoddard and had a very nice evening together:)

On Saturday, we also enjoyed a visit to Riverside Park to see the Rotary Lights.  Grandma and Grandpa, Daddy, and Gianna walked through the park to see the lights while Ella and I decided to take in the warmth of the warming tent;)
