The glow of our Christmas lights
Celebrating some feast days~ St. Nick and St. Lucy
Participating in a local drive by giving event
Lego creations- the boys loved Dad's garbage truck!
Ella entered "The Night Before Christmas" drawing contest, and her entry won a spot in the newspaper!
Viewing the Christmas Star in the night sky
Making some special Christmas cookies
The kids finally got an Elf on the Shelf this year (after several years of asking for one). They named him Rudolf. Every morning, the boys woke up excited to see the elf... the girls always seemed to know what he had been up to the night before. 😉
He stayed until Christmas Eve. The boys found him in a jar, so they could carry him around on the last day.
Simple moments spent together
We loved receiving Christmas cards through out the season. When we received a Christmas card from the Risseeuws, Dominic claimed it as his own because his cousin Kai was on it!
Our neighbor made wooden star ornaments for the kids to color, and our friends gave us some special treats.
The boys had fun imitating the play the girls rehearsed for their Christmas talent. I couldn't help but get a few pictures and video of their rendition. 😂
Ella dressed up as St. Lucy, Gianna dressed up as a Christmas Elf, and the boys wearing my first pair of glasses... I always thought, looking back, that they looked like boy glasses!😆
