Gianna at 11 Years Old

Has blonde hair, blue eyes, freckles on her nose, a sweet smile and an even sweeter laugh

Has solidified the long hair look for quite some time now and loves the crimp effect braids in her wet hair make

Is fairly easy going and usually doesn't let too many things get her upset (although there is usually an exception to the rule when it comes to her younger siblings and when she is over tired;)

Is helpful around the house and with her siblings

She is definitely the most reliable one for chores and usually like an organized room (although, it can get quite messy at times;)

Throughout the summer, she occasionally volunteered to make lunch for her brothers and sister and could be counted on to watch them from time to time

Is still shy around unfamiliar people and situations, but definitely has a side that loves to socialize with those who are familiar to her.

Especially loves to hang out with her cousins, neighborhood friends, her school friends, and for the most part, her sister and brothers

Enjoys having lemonade stands and neighborhood bake sales with her friends

Has recently grown to like staying home by herself for short stints and riding her bike to the store with her sister and one of the neighborhood girls

Does not like to be late!  

We have had some issues with busing this school year, and it has definitely caused her some distress

Loves taking her bike for a ride around the block

Likes doing crafts, swimming, shopping at Goodwill, and baking when she gets the chance

Still likes dolls and Shopkins and loves to read!

(She told me she doesn't want to create any more room on her bookshelf because then she would be too tempted to buy more books;)

Likes going to school and very rarely complains about going
Is doing well in school
She makes it easy on us, and we are thankful for that!

Plays the flute in band

Was Student of the Month last November

Last May she entered and won a writing contest for the Winona County Historical Society
She had to write a creative and factual story about an artifact at the local history museum; she chose a Native American lacrosse stick
She won $100 and receive the check the day before her birthday!

Participated in two plays: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Enjoyed being in both performances
