Happy St. Patrick's Day

For St. Patrick's Day this year, Gianna and Nathan constructed a Leprechaun trap from a box of Lucky Charms.  They were both very excited to make it, and Gianna tried to make sure everything was sealed up so if they caught one, it couldn't escape... unfortunately, the little leprechaun was a little too clever and a little to quick, and he got away... better luck next year!

The trap is ready!
All the kids REALLY look forward to a visit from the Leprechauns every year!  This year they dyed some milk green (like they did when Andy was little;), arranged a bowl of fruit into a rainbow, played in some powdered sugar, hung donuts from the light fixture that could only be eaten after they ate some green vegetables, set green army men all over the table, played in our bathtub (I'm sure not many houses have a beautiful, GREEN 1960's tub anymore;), left a few little notes for the kids to read, and ate the marshmallows set for them on the trap.
