Dominic 5- 6 Months Old

Often referred to as Dominic, Dom, or Domie

Weighs 16 lbs 10 ozs (30th percentile) and is 26 1/2 inches tall (50th percentile).
Has a head circumference of 16 1/3 inches (4th percentile)

Looks a lot like his dad.

Squeals in delight and can often be heard trying out different noises and sounds
His latest one sounds like he is saying the word "keeeeey," with a lot of spit;)

Shows mommy preference and will often cry if he sees me and wants to get into my arms.
Can still be pretty easily distracted, however, with an object or a toy or running water;)

Starting to play peek-a-boo with his burp cloths.  Will put them over his face and kick his arms and legs until you pull it off and say, "Peek-a-Boo!"  He then smiles in great satisfaction.

Has transitioned out of the rock-n-play sleeper, but not very well:/
He no longer has a nice longer stretch of predictable sleep to start off the night.

We also had a set back in transitioning him to the boys' room.  He would wake up and cry out and that in turn would wake up Nathan... we have opted to keep him in our room at night to avoid having two boys up and not sleeping well (sigh:/)

His sleep is getting better but is still a work in progress.

Likes to hold fingers and touch (or pinch!) faces to fall asleep.

Likes to try and eat his toes but refuses to take a bottle.

Has had his first cold.

Is pretty well known for his stinky toots and is becoming just slightly less know for being a Spit Up King.

Loves to stand and loves to bounce in his bouncer.

Is getting better at sitting up and is closing in on the ability to sit up, unsupported.

Loves to watch the fish in our fish tank swim around and loves to watch his siblings at play, especially Nathan.

Is pretty tolerable of what his siblings do to him, but he does reach his limits and cries out, "save me!"

Can hardly believe he is already 6 months old!!

He is our sweet little Baby Love!
