Nothing quite captures Valentine's Day like the color red... and the LOVE of a new house!
This past Monday, we closed on a house and couldn't be more excited!! We had started our search this past fall and had looked at quite a few houses of interest. Nothing quite captured what we were looking for in a house, until we went and looked at this one. This was the first house both Andy and I were equally excited about, and it didn't take long for us to decide to put in an offer!
After a little bit of negotiating, some major headaches dealing with credit companies (a story for another day really, but to make a long story short, don't let your wife tell you to close out your one and only credit card that then leaves you with no open credit for a few short years... you can have great credit but with nothing open to directly link you to it, it can turn into a complete mess... and it doesn't help that one company basically has both your information listed under one person; apparently Andrew and Andrea are just too similar!:/ And I must stop there, because I can already feel my blood start to boil.) ANYWAYS, after contacting a very friendly and helpful bank, we were back on track, and became homeowners again!
Andy and his dad have already put in a lot of hours painting almost all the main floor rooms.

We are planning our big move for the end of the month, and I will look forward to posting some before, during and after photos! So stay tuned!!
