Weighs 26 lbs 4 ozs (10th percentile) and is 36 1/4 inches (25th percentile)
Has grown so much in her imaginative play.
Likes to play in her play kitchen--
fill a bowl with a little water for her, and she can occupy herself fairly easily.
Often likes to dress up like a princess
or play the ever famous: "How about I be mom and you be sister."
Loves playing with dolls and barbies
Has entered the "what" and "why" stage;)
Her favorite show is Peg Plus Cat on PBS
She also likes watching other PBS clips on mom's IPad
Is sensitive
If she's told not to do something by someone (even if he/she says it nicely), it can often bring her to tears
Will often abandon a game mid-play or leave a craft project before it's reached completion, but can sit through an entire movie fairly well!
(Although if a craft involves cutting with scissors, she can usually be occupied longer-- she's pretty good with scissors for a three year old- I don't know if that's necessarily a good or bad thing;)
Is not afraid to hide in a closet by herself;)
In fact, a few times, she's been known to start a game of hide and seek without a seeker.
"Where's Ella?" "Oh, she's in the closet."
Is the food playing master!
If she’s not too hungry, you better watch out- she’ll mash,
dip, arrange, squish, and more!
| This was her farm with a fenced in cow;) |
Some of her favorite foods are: bananas, yogurt, crackers/breads, cereal, berries, nuts, chips,
mac and cheese, fruit snacks, and peanut butter sandwiches
Likes sweets and treats, but it is not uncommon for her to not finish them if she gets them.
When you give her something she often says, "I want some lots."
Has her own sense of style and opinion about what she wears and doesn't wear!
Has some favorite go to clothing items she likes to wear repeatedly and several outfit changes in one day are very common!
Likes skirts, dresses, and tappy shoes and likes to dress herself.
Favorite color: Pink
If she draws something for you, you'll often find it has a few holes poked in it;)
Is on the shy side, but can warm up to a situation and show independence as well.
Loves to laugh!
Has a little body, but a not so little voice
That includes both laughs and cries and everything else in between;)
Has a little body, but a not so little voice
That includes both laughs and cries and everything else in between;)
Loves to hold her brother for short stretches and often complains if she can't see baby Nathan's face.
She and Gianna share a very common big sister, little sister relationship. They can play super well together and be the best of friends at times but also annoy one another half to death other times;)
Ella often emulates what her big sister does, and I'm sure that will be the case for years to come!
Anybody who saw her with me over these past 2 1/2 years easily picked up on the fact that she liked to suck her thumb and put her hand down my shirt for comfort. I was a little concerned about what she would do when her baby brother was born, but as it turns out, it is just what she needed to kick the habit!
This is now her new comfort she has adapted to:
| She still has her ever faithful thumb, but now she plays with her ear as well. |
Is a super sweet and greatly loved little girl who touches my heart with her big innocent eyes and gapped tooth grin:)
The Hulup Girl;)
