Mid-January, Aunt Molly came for a visit! (Note to self: why is she visiting us in Wisconsin, in January, instead of us visiting her in warm and sunny California?! The latter sounds so much better right about now, doesn't it?!)
Anyways, we were so glad she made the trip for a visit and since sledding wasn't an option, due to the lack of snow we had that week, we went bowling:)
Getting our shoes on
 |
| Another note to self: don't wear skinny jeans to the bowling alley-- bowling shoes and skinny jeans don't really compliment one another very well;) |
 |
| First time bowling at a regular bowling alley! (Prior to this she had only done some mini-bowling at an arcade) |

 |
| This was Ella's first time bowling too! She put on the shoes, but that's about as far as she wanted to take the whole bowling experience. She was more content just watching the rest of us. |
 |
| ... and because a little friendly competition between spouses is a good thing-- here's a picture of our scores after the first game. He was beating me the entire game, and I pulled out a win in the final frame!... I told him it was his responsibility to take a picture of the score after the second game, but he didn't. (I'm not a sore loser, just a more gloatful winner, I guess;) |

| During the second game, Gianna decided to join Ella in the spectating activities and just pinch hit for some of us every now and then. One turn she took for grandpa went pretty much straight into the gutter; she turned around and said to him, "Sorry Grandpa, you didn't get a good one." |
All in all, we had a fun visit with Aunt Molly, and already miss having her around.
Miss you all too :) -Molly
